Abuse isn't always violent. It wasn't always violent in my first marriage. Sometimes it was being hit in the face with a shoe. Other times it was being called a selfish bitch for reading a book in bed after the kids went to sleep. Sometimes it was being told that he "doesn't cuss at me every day" so I'm making it a bigger deal than what it really is. It looked different every time, but it was all abuse. It was degrading and destructive to my whole family. But the Lord led me out of that situation. He showed me that there was hope for my family.

Hope
When your family is ripped apart by abuse, you may feel like there is no hope. The questions you have don't seem to have answers. But there is hope for you and your family.

Hope Groups are focused on encouraging women & families through the challenging emotions of leaving an abusive relationship, especially early on in the transition.

Growth
Rebuilding your life after abuse is hard and requires you to grow in unexpected ways. The entire family must heal and learn new skills. Skills on how to reframe our thinking, manage our emotions, and patiently interact with our family that builds each other.
